Casa Vely is a country house for 8 guests in Abandames, in the Peñamellera Baja area, right at the eastern gateway to the Picos de Europa (Northern Spain), with views over the Cares-Deva valley.

The first floor has three double bedrooms and a full bathroom; the second floor two single bedrooms. In total, five bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It has a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, an equipped kitchen (3-burner ceramic hob, double-door freezer) and a TV.

Outside, a garden with valley views and on-site parking. Ideal for families and groups who love the mountains, between the Picos de Europa and the eastern Asturian coast.

Situation

Atractivos del entorno: The location of this house allows to know both the Asturian east and the Cantabrian west and of course the region of Picos de Europa in whose surroundings the accommodation is located.
Thus the northern entrances to Picos by Arenas de Cabrales and a little further west by Cangas de Onis, are very soon by car. The southern entrance by Potes and Fuente Dé does not require much more travel either.

The beaches of the council of Llanes and Ribadesella are reached in about twenty minutes by the A8 motorway and the historic towns of Comillas and Santillana at the same time, in the direction of Santander by the same motorway.

Using a little more time (about fifty minutes) we can visit Oviedo or Gijon to the west or Santander to the east, including the nature park of Cabárceno.
And if we don't mind making a full day excursion, taking two hours we can visit the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao (on the east) or the cathedrals beach (in Lugo) on the west.
